easy rust smokey eye for fall.

hi babes! comin’ at ya today with makeup tutorial perfect for fall (or any time really…i’m that obsessed). ever since i discovered the beautiful metallic rust shade in my morphe palette, i’ve been using it nonstop. like i’m surprised i haven’t hit pan on it. this look would be beautiful once we’re deep into fall, but i think it’s also a good transition look coming from summer. it’s deeper but the orangey, red tones scream HOT SUMMER NIGHTS. and now looking back on it, i wonder why i didn’t name this look that….dang it.

i always get so many compliments on my makeup when i wear this look. although, i think it has lots to do with how much it makes my eyes pop! i have hazel eyes, but some days they tend to pull more green, and this rust makeup look accentuates that even more!

i’ll link all the products i used for my entire face down below & i name the specific colors used in the video. happy blending!

FOUR ways to wear a hair scarf.

four hair scarf hair styles tutorials

babes, i don’t think i’ve been this obsessed with a trend in quite a while. i used to wear a cute bandana in my hair all the time back in high school, so i’m LIVING that the hair scarf is back in style. i’ve been wearing mine here and there over the past couple of weeks and keep getting compliments & questions about how to wear them, so i thought i’d just share my favorite ways to incorporate scarves into my hair styles!

these four hair styles are great options for when it’s hot out, you need your hair out of your face, or (let’s be honest) you just don’t want to wash your hair that day. scroll on down to get the deets on these adorable looks & to shop some of my favorite hair scarves!

1. the tupac

so simple. roll the scarf diagonally, place around your neck, pull ends up & double knot.

2. the pony bow

also super simple. pull hair back in a low pony, roll the scarf diagonally, wrap around the pony & double knot. i like to fluff the ends of the scarf when i’m done so it’s nice and flowy.

3. the hidden headband

takes a little more time, but sooo cute in the end.

pull back your hair except for at the nape of your neck, widely fold scarf diagonally, tie below the hair you pulled up, let down your hair & pull it all back in a low bun/pony/braid!

4. the bun wrap

saved the best for last. this look is my absolute FAVE!

start with your hair in a top knot, roll scarf diagonally, wrap scarf to the back then the front and back to the back & double knot to finish.

current spring favorites.

y’all, i went all over the board with this one. i talked a little fashion, a little beauty, a whole lotta skincare and some random drinks that i thought y’all just really needed to know about. lol. literally talked about a bottle of water (omg sponsor me core water!) because it tastes good…and it’s amazing…and totally unnecessarily bougie.

ALSO. i graduated from college this weekend, yall. so stinkin’ crazy to think about. more on that topic coming to ya next week!

okay, y’all go grab a snack (it’s a long one) and let dive on in to this favorites video!

my five favorite lipsticks.

good afternoon, babes, or i guess morning/night depending on when you’re reading this. LOL i can’t believe i’ve never written this post! not in over THREE YEARS. well, better late than never, huh?

today, i’m sharing my favorite lipsticks in all sorts of shades. i honestly could have done a whole post on my favorite neutral lip colors (because i have about ten of almost the same shade), but a little variety is fun! however, if seeing what my fave everyday lip colors are, let me know!
