bar cart inspiration.

just sharing my latest obsession with y’all today.
i don’t really know why all of a sudden i wanted to create my own bar cart, but i do. maybe it’s because i’m 21 now or because my roomie just graduated and took hers with her. but all i know is that there is a bid empty spot in my living room that is screaming to be filled with something pretty.
i’ve pulled some of my recent pins for inspiration, and made a little collage of wishlist items that i think i want to use to style my own bar cart.
however, please note that these items are pretty inspirational and i’ll probably end up buying cheaper options off amazon. LOL ya girl is still ballin’ on a budget here.

holiday gift guide for your gal pals!

happy wednesday, lovebugs!
this week is going by so slow for me. probably because thanksgiving break is next week and i’m anxious anticipating going home! this gal needs a break from school.
while i’m home in texas next week you know i’ll be taking advantage of good dallas shopping, because i’ve got christmas shopping to do!! honestly, i’m surprised that i haven’t already started. you know how people always say that when you get older you stop caring about presents so much? well it’s so true! i get so much more joy out of buying or making other people things rather than getting things for myself.
(don’t get me wrong i still love presents. i’ve had a christmas list made since august.)
so today i thought i’d round up a few little gifts that would be PERFECT inspiration for your girl friends, girlies, gal pals, besties, and bffs for the upcoming holiday season.

( PSSSST. boys, these could also be perfect for your special lady. 😉 )

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p, cb; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); = id; cb = new Date().getTime().toString(); p = ‘//’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);

i would love to do more gift guide posts this year, so let me know in a comment who you want to see a gift guide for!

shop SPRING.

you know that warm spring weather that i keep hoping will show up?
i think it’s finally here and here to stay!
but let’s get real, it could be 45 degrees out and i’d still be dressing like it’s at least 65.
april calls for sundresses and sandals, dangit!
i’m pairing up with Spring today to share pieces from my spring wishlist!
spring is a “single shopping destination where people can discover amazing products and buy them directly from the brands and designers that make them.”
first let’s get the obvious out of the way. would it be a love emmarie wishlist if a pair (or two) of sunnies wasn’t featured? i love tortoise shell and i love mirrored lenses, so these illesteva glasses are basically perfect.
[ check out these while you’re at it! ]
the low block heel trend has definitely caught my eye recently. it’s like a kitten heel, but WAYYY more chic. i picked these because of their black and brown leather combo that makes them just that more versatile.
i’m also really digging side slit tops! the slit is just a little unexpected twist that can spice up any outfit. – this one is on sale at urban outfitters for $30!
bralettes are all the rage because of house comfortable they are, and because it’s okay if they show a little. sports bras are also just as comfy and a cute one can really amp up your athleisure game.
i’ve been dying over the calvin klein bras & undies for a while, so if anyone wants to help a sista out.. 😉

last but not least, let’s talk accessories real quick.
i feel like everyone has a daniel wellington watch, and i want in the club. i love the simple gold and white face with the leather black band. classic.
this mr. kate lariat necklace is gorgeous! it would fall beautifully inside a deep v-neck top and layered with a few other pieces (another HUGE trend that’s back this season).

so let’s chit chat, loves.
i know you have all been eyeing things lately…let me know what they are!

xoxo, emily
