retro summer glam with Aldo.

i’m pretty sure summer has arrived whether we’re ready or not. i don’t think it’s gotten to 100* quite yet here in texas, but it’s been pretty dang close.

the only time i’m 100% okay with being out in the heat is when there’s a large body of water nearby (yanno, like a lake or ocean or pool). getting in some quality beach time doesn’t come easy living in dallas (take me back to LA!), but lake days are definitely a thing. my family just bought a ski boat so expect to see me living on the lake every free weekend we get!

i think the lack of beach this year is starting to rub off on me..i feel very “retro summer glam” in this look. i’ve been seeing hard scarves everywhere recently & LOVING them. i’ll be heading to pinterest after posting this to get some inspo (join me?).

lastly, y’all know i LOVE my espadrilles. i wear these far too often..whoops. i just got this pair in from Aldo the other day and i’m obsessed with the detail. they’re like the extra older sister of my current pair. faux leather, cord, suede, metallic shoestrings & embroidery? sign me up.

PS: i get questions/compliments on this lip color almost every time i wear it. it’s the milani amore matte lip creme in ADORABLE. but best of luck finding it….it seems to be sold out everywhere i look for it.
