BABES! wow, it’s been a hot minute since i’ve posted to the blog. i’ll keep this life update short and sweet so we can get back to the fun content.
okay, let’s see where do i start? well i’ve got two BIG things.
1. i finally got my first “big girl job”! i’ve left the not-so-glamorous world of retail and have moved into the corporate world. i was hired by an amazing family owned business here in dallas and i’m working on their quickly growing e-commerce team. this is the perfect spot for me to start my career and i’m so excited to see where it will take me!
2. because of this job change, my commute was more than doubled from where i was living at home. so obviously a move wasn’t just needed but necessary. enter: CASA DE EM! i’m in my first apartment, which THRILLS me to have my own space. y’all, believe it or not, i’m such a introvert. i love being by myself at the end of the day. i’m also so excited to be able to share some real home decor content with y’all. i know so many of you are in apartments yourself or may be in a house, but you love a good budget find. ya girls more on a homegoods/tj maxx budget…not restoration hardware. well, not yet at least. 😉
that’s pretty much all i’ve got for this little update! a lot of growing up has happened in the past two weeks. yeah you read that right. i accepted this job, found an apartment and moved in a WEEK. it’s been a whirlwind, but i’m finally settling in.
y’all, i’m so excited for what’s ahead in my personal life, for the blog and in my career, and you know i’ll be taking you along with me.
