FIVE DAYS PEOPLE. FIVE DAYS!!
i have to constantly remind myself that it’s almost christmas. i guess i’ve just been so busy that i haven’t had time to stop and smell the roses enjoy the christmas lights! is this what it feels like to be a grown up, because i don’t like it.. :/
i shot this look back at thanksgiving and i’ve been DYING to share it.
now i know this isn’t a typical holiday look. there’s no red, green, gold, but it is fab and my sweater is sparkly. need i say more?
this look was inspired by the 1950’s “new look
” (shout out to my heritage of dress class). the highwaisted, pleated midi, off the shoulder top, low heel..so classy.
so if anyone wants to invite me to a fab christmas/holiday party, feel free to do so.
i’d love to give outfit it’s time to shine. 😉
/ sweater: H&M (old) / skirt: H&M / choker: Forever21 / sandals: Forever21/
/ sunnies: amazon /
remember when i said that there were looks from my new york trip that i would recreate because i loved them so much? well, here’s the first revisited nyc look.
it’s such a simple outfit (so that it’s comfy), but totally pulled together (so that you feel fab).
it’s the best of both worlds!
let’s take a quick sec to talk about the star of this outfit. these booties. kendall + kylie, you rock my socks. these are so “fun” as the quirky nordstrom sales man called them, and i agree. the thick, chunky heel and super pointy toe. ugh. so perf. so FUN.
happy wednesday, lovebugs!
this week is going by so slow for me. probably because thanksgiving break is next week and i’m anxious anticipating going home! this gal needs a break from school.
while i’m home in texas next week you know i’ll be taking advantage of good dallas shopping, because i’ve got christmas shopping to do!! honestly, i’m surprised that i haven’t already started. you know how people always say that when you get older you stop caring about presents so much? well it’s so true! i get so much more joy out of buying or making other people things rather than getting things for myself.
(don’t get me wrong i still love presents. i’ve had a christmas list made since august.)
so today i thought i’d round up a few little gifts that would be PERFECT inspiration for your girl friends, girlies, gal pals, besties, and bffs for the upcoming holiday season.
( PSSSST. boys, these could also be perfect for your special lady. 😉 )
