cheesy title…i know, but let’s move past it. LOL. i really am so so happy today, and after the past couple of days i’ve had, I NEED IT. i just feel like i need to speak all this joy and positivity into existence.
these past few weeks have been very discouraging and frustrating. i’m not sure why God has me in such a difficult season right now, but i posted my thoughts on insta the other day:
“PLACED with PURPOSE. // just a reminder that God has placed you wherever you are for a reason. whatever season He has you in right now is for a reason. it’s frustrating to me that i don’t know why He puts us through such discouraging seasons, but we’re not supposed to know everything. TRUST wouldn’t be a thing if we did. just know He has something so amazing in store for us hidden in his will. but it’s not until we have fulfilled the PURPOSE of our PLACE that He will reveal His plans for us.”
i’ve kind of realized over the past year that you can’t try to figure out His plan for you on your own. He’ll pretty much just laugh at you and say “HA. watch this.” in every season there is a lesson to be learned. i think this season’s is a combination of learning patience and trust. not a shocker though…i have like ZERO patience. trust God to lead you through your low points. like they say, “if He brings you to it, He’ll bring you through it.”
